Headed to Hollywood- Original 18x24 Resin Canvas

After returning from the Army, Elvis Presley  hit the ground running, heading straight to Hollywood to begin what would become a demanding and transformative film career. This piece reflects the start of that journey-capturing the moment in April of 1960, as he boarded a train bound for Hollywood to film G.I. Blues. It represents a turning point: momentum, ambition, and the beginning of what would become some of the toughest years of his life.
